I/O Error

Hi,

I have ultra 10 solaris 2.7 system and I am facing I/O
error problem in this system when I run vi or any editor
and some time in any command.

error message----"/var/tmp/Ex00000001894" I/O error

what could be the problem or worng with this system?

Pretty sure you are running out of space on /var/tmp.
or you do not have access rights. Too bad I.T. is not cash business

Forgot to tell you that when tou edit a file, the os makes a temporary copy of the file in /var/tmp Too bad I.T. is not cash business
