I need to write a report based on information from a HL7 file

I used the Microsoft text driver to set up the ODBC data source to the file found in a "Tool kit" directory location. It is a HL7 file (which is sent over an interface) and I wrote an Schema.ini file but I am still getting an error, "there are no fields in the file". I set up the delimiter as a "|" which seperates the data in the file. What I am doing wrong? I am using Crystal 10.
