I need to set up a call foward on help desk to go to a secondary phone 3

I need to set up a call foward on help desk to go to a secondary phone and then back to Primary help desk phone and be answer by the primary VM box.

I have an Option 11 C I will show wha t i have programmed so far. My problem is the call passes to secondary phone and then come back to primary and rings off the hook never going to VM. VM is 6565 as you can see. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

sounds complicated. I would set up a linear hunt grp with the primary phone as the first entrt, the second as teh second entry then voicemail as the last entry.

It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.

is the helpdesk number the primary dn on the phone?

if so change the primary dn to something else

build a hunt group in LD 18

In the voicemail build the mailbox as the pilot dn number.

You can add a key to the phones so they can opt in or out of the hunt group as required:

keep it simple, hunt works on busy, forward works on no answer... i call 1000 (help desk) ring no answer, rco value is met, call forwards to 2000... 2000 rings no answer, call goes to mail then to mailbox 1000... all i need is on set 1000 cls fna plus fdn 2000, all i need on 2000 is cls fna sfa fdn xxxx to mail... i can't make that call forward back to where it came from... in all cases the 3rd forward no answer has to be mail...

next case, busy treatment (hunt)
it the set 1000 has key 1 as 2000, the cls hta, lhk 1, hunt mail.. will do both... if i am on key 0 then 2000 will ring on the far set, if it;s busy, then 1000 needs hunt xxxx to mail and station 2000 needs cls hta and hunt to mail..


the switch has a problem building loops.. hunt can loop from a hunt group, but no answer (forward) will not... forward your phone to me, i forward my phone to you, it will not keep ringing back and forth all day, and it will never go to mail...

hunt is good for up to 31 stations,, if the 1st 30 are busy it will ring set 31... forward is good for 3 hops, make the third hop voice mail
