I need to program a line on a phone to - No Ring.

At extension 10
Press Feature 00 (zero,zero)
left Intercom twice
right intercom once
enter extension number
then press the button of the line you want to change
check the display to see the programming
 

I have performed all the steps you have sent. However when I get to this step > "then press the button of the line you want to change check the display to see the programming"

I press the button of the line I want to change & instead of displaying line 01 (which is the line I want to change)it displays line 08.

Also how do I save this programming change?

Please advise
 
Does that line appear on that phone?
Go to the extension, press feat 00, confirm your extension #. press the buttons on the extension. They should appear on the same buttons as when you are in programming on ext 10.
 

Yes, the line does appear on the phone.

I have been able to set this line to - No Rinbg on (2) other extensions & it worked fine.

On the Manager's phone (ext. 13),I press Feat 00, I press the button for his line - it appears as line 01 on the display.

On the Receptionist's phone (ext. 10), I press Feat 00, I press the button for the Manager's line - it appears as line 01 on the display.

On the Secretary's phone (ext. 19), I press Feat 00, I press the button for the Manager's line - it appears as line 08 on the display.

FYI - Line 08 is no longer in use but does still have dial tone.

Line appearances can be different on any or all phones.Even though the line is labeled "line 1" on ext 19, it still can be any number you want on the system.To verify your line assignment for an extention from ext 10 or 11 (feature 00,left intercom twice, #301,extention number,enter the line you want to verify, it should appear with a green light next to it and a "1 assigned" in the display. Sounds to me like that phone is set up different from the others.
