I find out that I will need to put my ISP's primary and secondary IP DNS as forwarders in my Domain Controller's DNS Manager. I have one DNS server and it is the root and the forwarders are grayed out. I heard that if I delete the root (dot) ".", the forwarders will become available. Does someone knows if I delete the root in the DNS server if I will have problems. What will be the impact ?

The impact?? you'll be able to surf using your internal DNS, because it forwards to your ISP DNS- Status
