I need to connect to Informix SE v7.30UC6

I need to connect to a Informix SE v7.30.UC6 running on a SCO-Unix machine.

I want to access it from a PC running WinXp.
-Do i need to install ODBC on SCO-Unix in order to do this?
--If so, how do i know if the ODBC is installed or not in the SCO-Unix machine?

-Can i install ODBC only on the XP and connect to Informix on the SCO-Unix?
-Where can i find the driver? I have IBM SDK kit but it says that it cannot find the translation dll's when i do a test connection to the SCO-Unix.
