I need to change the IP address of out BCMS Vu Server

I need to change the current IP address on our BCMS Vu server. I have heard that this will cause a problem. I have to change the IP address due to changes in our network structure. Can anyone tell me how to do this and configure the BCMS Vu server to still work properly. The server is currently running on a Windows 2000 machine. Any help would be appreciated.
