I need to be able to place an html

I need to be able to place an html file in Indesign. When I try to do a place, it brings in the html file with all the tags; basically it's treating the html as a text file and I would like for the way the html displays to be brought in without having to first launch the html in a browser and then copy and paste into Indesign.

Is there a way to do this??? Thanks

How about printing the HTML from the browser as a PDF (or web-capturing with Acrobat), then placing the PDF in InDesign?

or

How about taking a screen copy of the web page in the browser and placing the bitmap file into InDesign?

or

How about opening the web page in Microsoft Word and then saving it as a DOC file to place in InDesign?

I had thought about doing the Microsoft Word option as a backup plan. But I have over 1000 html files that I would be referencing.

If these HTML files are in some sort of progression and you need to place them all in the same ID document, consider using Acrobat Web Capture to open each HTML file and append it into one PDF. You can then use a script from the adobe expert center download area (adobe.com) to spread the PDF on all of your ID pages at once.
