I need to add a static route to a dec brouter...can anyone help?

Do I have to be directly connected to the said dec brouter? I have tried to telnet to it but none of the passwords that were supplied seem to work. I configured a few dec servers a while ago and I had to do a 'set priv' in order to get into the enable mode.

Does anyone know what I need to do?
