I need the wiring schematics for norstar compact ics 4.0 1

I have the equiptment and need to know how to wire from the 66 block to the customer premise.. ie.. the existing phone lines coming in... any help will be appreciated....

Documentation for Nortel is readily available from sources on the Web. Search Nortel. $50-$75 for the docs, mailed, not downloaded.

Be aware, though, that the number scheme may not make sense at first. If time is valuable, you might need to hire a tech to install it.

The good news is that Nortel is hard to damage by miswiring.

on a compact ics the co lines feature as follows
line 1 W/Bl and Bl/W
line 2 WO/ and O/W

line 3 W/sl and SL/W
line 4 R/Bl and Bl/R So it goes 2 and skips 2 for a total of 8 lines.

The station side feastures out on the 4.0
port 101
port 102

I am trying to install the same system and am wondering what you terminate to for the stations? Example: sta 1 = wblue/blue pins 4,5.
Any help would be much appreciated!

... Nortel uses the simplest possible termination: the single pair per station is terminated on the primary pair position of the jack you are using.

For an 8-pin jack, the primary pair position is, as you say, pins 4&5. For USOC jacks (4 or 6 pin), the primary position is the center pair of pins.

Likewise, the CAP module lays down on the secondary pair positions.
