Hey everyone,

I purchased a baseline HP desktop back in 2000, and now that I'm getting into VBA, I've noticed that many people on Tek-Tips recommend using the Help file within the VBA environment to learn. Problem is, I don't have the files, and the recovery software that came with my computer doesn't appear to include any MS Office 2000 Standard support or anything else similar. I'm sure I could learn quite a bit from the Object browser or Help index, but I'm out of luck until I get Help installed. Does anyone have any suggestions on where I could obtain the files? The Microsoft site doesn't appear to have them.

Thanks for your help.

Shaun

John,

In this case, because my Office Assistant is on, when I click on Help > Microsoft Visual Basic Help, it tells me "The Office Assistant cannot currently answer your questions because the help files are missing." It gives me the option to install the files, which of course, is the problem, since I don't have them.

Thanks John.
