I am Using Nortel CS 1000 I subscriber demanded to stop the facility of call forwarding, I have tried my best but I reach on result that this can be stopped for the whole system.
or only for external calls .

but not for a specific extension for local calls.

please help me how to disable the facility of local calls forwarding on a any extension

For your extension, it would be much easier if you were to print and post your phones "TNB" parameters.

To turn off call forwarding for a extension, check if FDN and EFD are set to point to another destination. Also check if you have a call forward key activated to divert.

You can either change the current FDN and EFD to point to your own extension number or change some of the forwarding CLS settings, but in your case I would just change it to your number.

sorry I could not explain my problem

I want to deactivate the facility of call forwarding on a specific extension see there is an extension on which I want that I could not foreword his calls to any other extension ///???
Hope now the question problem is clear ?

remove the call forward key, and set the CLS to FND/HTD/FBD

so
REQ chg
TYPE <set type>
TN <tn of set>
ECHG yes
ITEM cls fnd htd fbd
ITEM key 19 nul

I have tried it on my
Telephone type 500
CLS fnd htd fbd
and being the analog set so key 19 nul not required

but still problem is there

calls are forwarded

plz help

Perhaps you need to remove the CFW ftr for the analogue set?

Here is an example of a set that is able to call forward.

Dear FirebirdScrambler

thanks a lot

its really works

Dear FirebirdScrambler
my problem of call forwarding has been solved,
I am thankful to you.

I want to shift from Nortel to IP Base system, will you please guide me how to take start
or any link from where IP Base server could be downloaded.
and what about asterisk...?

Asterisk is a very neat little package with plenty of various well written packages. I currently use a version in a Raspberry P1 box and it is linked to my BCM 50 system via a H323 IP trunk and also across the internet to a friends Raspberry P1 and BCM 50 system.

It all depends on how many phones you need. I have SIP phones on the Asterisk and even Nortel Unistim IP phones working.

A very good system which is a modified Asterisk system is the E-metrotel one that has been designed to interface with existing Nortel kit which includes the BCM and CS1000 range.
