I have been approached to head a very large project to upgrade a call centre in France both from
a business point of view [e.g. Process Re-Engineering, CRM] and from a Technical point of view
[PBX, ACD, CTI, IVR, etc...].

Whilst I have experience in about 85 % of their request, there is one area which I have not YET
been implicated: PBX INSTALLATION AND SWAPPING.

This is the area where I wonder anyone of you would have some usefull experience?

In short, we are talking about a BT Meridian Option 81C that need to be installed in lieu of two older
systems.

What I need to understand is the following:

1. What are the main TASKS which need to be performed during this swapping?

2. What are the main pitfalls one should expect during this swapping?

Unfortunately speed is [as usual] the essence as I have to make a business presentation this Friday.

Any help you can provide will be great!

Many thanks in advance to you all.

1. Present dialing plan
2. Know present problems due to lack of resources
3. Changes in trunking
( avoid if possible - any degradation due to trunking decrease will be blamed on new system!!)

3.Present proprietary set and their implementation in Nortel sets

4. How to handle normal daily changes
5. How to handle problems ( and there are always some) with new hardware
