I am requesting some help about some phone systems [/b](electricity current and amp) in phone lines. Could any body reccommend a good website.

Hi Jdlasell
If you wish to know the voltages on extensions, they are dependant on the system in use but at pabx end they could be 24v, 40, or 48/50v DC. Ringing anywhere from 60vac to 100vac. At the extension end 6volt off hook to 30vdc on hook. Off hook current drawn 15-20ma. ringing dependent on ringers/bells 10-30ma. Supply voltage & current for system depends on local voltages available power units often fitted to match in. Also how big a system it is go to some of the manufactures web sites and look for technical spec's.
hope this helps.
Cheers
