Hello all, I'm new in telephony world, I have some questions and I will appreciate your help.

I have an iPECS emg80

1) what's the difference between the digital phones and the IP phones? (I think that i can do everything with the digital phone (programming))

2) I have VoIP in my system, can I use digital and analog phones to use VoIP or I must have IP phones?

Best regards.

Digital phones connect directly to the control unit via traditional phone wiring. IP phones use Category cabling and IP networking.

You can use VoIP, in the form of SIP Trunking, with digital and analog phones with the emg80.
