Can anyone tell me how to increase the number of colors available to me when creating forms with vb6?
thanks

when setting the color of a control or anything in vb why not just use the RGB function

the range is from

RGB(0,0,0) - black
to
RGB(255,255,255) - black

i think there are a few million colours in between

If you go to the Properties for the form/control, select the colour you want to change eg. form - backcolor, click the dropdown arrow, click on the palette tab, right click on one of the boxes in the bottom two rows of the palette (custom colors), this will bring up the define color window. Select the color you want to use and click add color.

Hope this is of help.

From what I've read on interface design, as too many colors tends to overwhelm the user. You have to start
hiding low-priority options in menus!
Use you power only for good.
