Hello all, maybe someone has the solution to my problem.

I am creating an org chart in visio. The wizard builds everything correctly but my employee numbers are always missing their leading 0. I need this 0 to appear.

Example:
In the source spread sheet the number is: 034567.

BUT in visio it appears on my chart as: 34567.

The number in excel is already formatted as text, but apparently Visio doesn't know that and it is truncating all leading 0s. Please help and thank you in advance.

IN case anyone checks here, I found that even though the numbers in excel were defined as "text", visio imports them as Number. You have to deine the custom property of each field you want to be text as string, even if it WAS text in excel.
