Hi.. i just installed openbsd 3.6, patched it and enabled PF...
i also enabled ip.forwarding=1
and created bridgename.bridge0 like this:
add xl0
add xl1
up
my firewall has 2 NICs... xl0 and xl1
xl0 = 172.16.9.100 255.255.248.0
xl1 = 200.38.152.218 255.255.255.240
this is my scenario:
laptop ---> firewall <--- web and sql server
172.16.9.15 200.38.152.221
what should i do so that i can access my web server from my laptop? (my test is to let my laptop access the web server but NOT the sql server)
from my laptop i ping the firewall (172.16.9.100) but i can't see the web server, what am i missing??
i have currently the same scenario working on line... but that one works and this one doesn't... =(
what i see different is this... in the firewall that works i go "cat hostname.rl1" and it says "up"
in my test firewall i go "cat hostname.xl0" and it says "inet 172.16.9.100 255.255.248.0 NONE"
???
thanks a lot!!!
