i know that i have atleast 150 mb on my c drive but it keeps telling me i have only 0 to 3 mb left and with this i am unable to run or start any aplications. i let windows managing my swap disk files can anyone help thanks

Windows *REALLY* does not like running out of disk space. Your swap file can get very large while a program loads/runs thus filling up all but the last parts of your drive. As a rule of thumb if you have less than 20% of the capicity of your drive reminaing it is time to add a new drive. If you have a 10GB drive add one when you have used 8GB (2GB remaining).

I am guessing you have a drive larger than 1GB so you need to get a new drive ASAP (if smaller than one GB you need a new one anyway)...don't even turn on the machine untill you have done so. You can try buying yourself a little time by booting up and deleting as much old stuff (saving off to tape, disk, CD-RW, if you can but it my not allow this with so little space to work with) as you can.

PS-This is really the wrong forum for this question not that I mind but you will get better and quicker responses in an appropriate forum where the appropriate experts are reading the posts. :)
