I need help with lotus notes 8 calendar & email setup

Hello.
I lust installed 3 new computers for a doctor. She has lotus notes 8 on each system & would like the calendars networked together so that when changes are made to one system they all update. She uses the calendar to do all her appointments. She loves it. I have never used lotus notes. I am good with outlook but this is new. I don’t know how to setup the email in lotus. I need some help please! I tried but this has been a 2 day thing now & the videos I am look at are not helping me. Can someone please help me. Thank you for your time!

Could you confirm that the 3 systems are not tied to a server ?
Because without a server, I cannot see how you are going to synchronize anything between separate Notes clients.
