Hi!
I need help with graphics in flash. If I import the graphic and put it in one keyframe the graphic stays clear and good quality, but if I do let's say five keyframes the graphic looses it's quality and the graphic is not that good anymore. Please help!!! I have tryed jpeg, gif, everything possible.
Please give me some suggestions.
Thanks a lot!
Sincerely,
DK

Hey,
try importing your jpeg into flash. Step2. from the library find the jpeg you imported and right click on it and choose properties. You will see the bitmap properties window popup.Step 3. Uncheck the "use imported jpeg data". You will now see the quality box enabled. From this point simply type in a higher amount for the quality. Default is 50% max is =100% Use the test button to view the new file sizes and compression results. This will greatly improve the quality of your imported jpegs and so on.... Oh btw after you hit the test tab to test the file sizes..., hit the update button to apply the new quality settings. Cntrl+enter to test in swf format to see your new results.

I'm trying to use my graphics on the flash but they loose their quality very much. I don't know what to do. I've seen sites such as using such wonderfull images, graphics and they are great quality plus it's on flash. I want to learn how to do that.
I've tryed to use some graphics that were made on Photoshop as jpeg and I have tryed what you have said and it does improve the graphic a little but nothing big. :(
Is there maybe some other program from Macromedia for these kind of things?
Thank you!

Hi xxbazzy.....,
What type of graphics are you using? I've found that "graphics" can mean anything from a photo to flat artwork and what works great for one really stinks for another type. Flash is especially challenging in this area, so much that I devote most of my time just developing the flash artwork for the programmers. If you want to e-mail me a sample and let me know what program you created it in, I'll be glad to check it out for you.
