I need help with exporting file formats

I've checked both the search and FAQs page but was unable to find an answer to this. When I export my movie I am not given much of a choice for format. So any recipient of my movie must have a flash player, right?...but I can download a flash movie from the internet and its format is an ".exe" is there any way to make my movie can act as such, instead of the ".swf" format?

go to file...publish settings...click on windows projector.exe...then publish as such....
