what u r looking for is the monitoring of Netbackup. Right now i am working on that white paper . Soon will publish that. For the time being u can use bpimagelist command. Is quite powerful command.
I have written some custimized scripts which can mail different kind of reports for a particular time period.
That script is under use by the vancouver general hospital to monitor the Netbackups activities.
If you want that script let me know.There is a minimal charge for that script .
