I Need Help Installing Oracle 8i...Please Help

I have Oracle 8i Enterprise. I tried to install Enterprise first and then Oracle Developer. I doesn't work...

I don't get any login information, I can't connect to SQL.

What are the steps and modifications for installing Enterprise.

I have 3 CDs.

1) Enterprise 8i...which contains - Enterprise
- Client
- Programmer
2) Developer edition 6.0

3) Client 7.3.4

PLease help me...What do I install first and how.

Whare do I get the login information from???

I'm running Windows 2000 Pro.

You have to configure the TNSNAMES.ORA first to connect to the server. You can do this using the Net8 Assistant, once you are successful in connecting by Net8, copy the tnsnames.ora & sqlnet.ora from %ORACLE_HOME%\NET80\ADMIN (ver 8) to %ORACLE_HOME%\NETWORK\ADMIN (ver 7). Faster way is to copy these files from the server side. Ask your DBA about this.
