Ok, so i have a Linksys BEFSR81, it has 8 ports. I just found a Linksys WiFi router. I use the normal non-WiFi one for the internet, but i wanted to play my DS online. So i hooked up the WiFi router, but the connection is lost when i go to my room. So i want to put the WiFi router upstairs and the only way to do that is to connect the WiFi router to the normal router(who is connect to the modem) by cat5 into the Wan port. I just don't know the settings i have to do to make this possible, could some 1 explain how to set that up?

Well by now you know that 99% of all networks should have just one router.

Pick one of your routers, say the wired one, sounds like it is doing fine. Study it's address and the DHCP range it administers.

Now hook up to the other router, say the wireless one, Turn off it's DHCP, and then change it's Address to the same subnet as the first router but outside it's DHCP range.

Now you can connect the two devices via the LAN ports, although if they are old enough they will need a crossover cable

I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.
