I need help extracting and installing XAMPP for Windows!

I downloaded the zip of XAMPP and then I downloaded 7 Zip, which is a unzip utility. I don't exactly know what to extract from XAMP there are many files to XAMPP.

You will extract everything in the zip package into its own directory then run the install program from there. This will just be a temp directory because the installer will put all the files where they need to be. You will be able to delete it afterwards.

I think you'd just unzip them into a directory, like "c:\xampp".

A simpler method is to download the installer and just run that.
