I will be the first to say yes, I am a newbie. I just was put into this position because the other guy quit and left nothing like documentation or anything. I need help. I have several Cisco Catalyst 2960's that I need to reset. What is the best way to do this? Now please understand I am not a cisco person nor have I ever messed with one. I have only messed with 3comm switches. I read the documentation on the Cisco site, but I am completely lost.

if you are doing it because you dont know the password use link above instead.

otherwise stop at step 7 and it's factory default after next boot
