i need a FREE app that will print a active window for XP we have dos peogram we use put it dose not let you print so i need a tool that will print the window any help???

Please always take the time to backup any and all data before performing any actions suggested for ANY problem, regardless of how minor a change it might seem. Also test the backup to make sure it is intact.

To copy the window or screen contents.

To make a copy of the active window, press ALT+PRINT SCREEN.
To copy the entire screen as it appears on your monitor, press PRINT SCREEN.

Use a free Editor if you don't have a Photo Editor already, to paste it and then print the screenshot.

Do a google search for a free program called "Purrint". Small tsr. Let's you use "Print Scrn" like in the old days! You hit prnt scrn and the pop-up lets you select how much of the screen you want to print.

There is always the inbuilt MsPaint.exe too.
