Hi I have NT platform and apache on it and I need GUI to configure the server any one know any thing ?Thanks

Well, the best GUI for Apache is a good text editor, and a web browser to test your configuration.

I know that's not what you want to hear, but that's probably your best bet right now. Even if there is a GUI for Apache/NT somewhere (I doubt it), it's not something I would recommend. You're never going to really learn to use Apache unless you follow the documentation, and learn how to deal with httpd.conf, and the other configuration files. It's not that hard to get started, though. Besides the main documentation at there are plenty of Apache books and websites out there, and plenty of people in the forums working on the same problems.

Hi,

There are indeed a few gui tools out there. Probably the best is comanche from --> . There is also mohawk from --> and you can do a certain amount with webmin which is a much broader http-based gui tool for all kinds of linux admin --> .

However, to some extent I agree with rycamor that you're better off biting the bullet and learning it the old-fashioned way because, sooner or later, you'll probably want to configure something outside the scope of those tools.

Hope this helps

I understand that there are GUI tools for Linux/Apache, but this question was about a GUI for NT and Apache, which I don't think exists at this time.

I have tried Comanche and Webmin, but in the end, I have found that the GUI just keeps you from learning how your webserver really works.
