We are going to replace our existing isp w/ another.
So we are having a new set of Ip addresses.

I was wondering if I change the actual ips on the router (interface, mask, static route) I should be ok, meaning that also the access lists will be updated automatically consequently.

The other question I have: is the static route ip the same as gateway ip?

Thanks

You may be thinking of "Default Route"?

"Gateway" is usually what you call it on a non-routing device, and "default route" is what you call it on a routing device (router/firewall).

Any thoughts about my first question:"If I change the actual ips on the router (interface, mask, static route) I should be ok, meaning that also the access lists will be updated automatically consequently."

Thanks

No!!You will need to update the addreses of the new ISP.

Regards

done that with no luck. Still I cannot browse the net or ping outside the router.
All pings comeback with Unreachable.
Any ideas?

Post the config.
