I Need a script...

Thanks in advance for any help...
I want to design a web page with calendar that will be used for scheduling purposes...It will need to have some sort of text box that will allow general public to post messages within daily squares. Actually, it will be used for scheduling purposes, and the people involved can enter their availability, etc...therefore allowing others to pull up the schedule and look at it at any given time.
I'm assuming there will need to be a text box with a script of sorts...

most often, you have something started and need a bit of help in getting over errors, or system requirements in asking questions.

I may have taken your thread wrong, but it seems a bit demanding on us doing something for you. Or have you jsut not stated exactely what it is you need?

Sorry... I guess I didn't explain it very well...

I have a web site aleady... what I want to do is to have one page that will allow anyone to place information within the specific dates on a calendar. Then, anyone else can simply pull up the page and see the message that was left within any given day.
I guess I simply need to know how to create a calendar which will allow text boxes...and thus the text boxes to be immediately posted on the calendar at the specific date.
And I'm hoping to be able to have 3-4 months ahead available at any one time...

As i said, this will be used for scheduling purposes for people who are on a volunteer basis. Then anyone can open the page... Look at a whole month calendar, and see who is available and also who has specific notes for any given day...
I didn't realize this was so difficult for me to put into words... I hope I explained it better...

the general points you are missing are;

we have no idea what scripting technologies your server supports. ASP, PHP, CGI, Perl, Python, JSP, ColdFusion etc

What database can you use? MSSQL, MySQL, Access etc

do you have the programming skills to write it or modify it yourself or are you looking for a pre-built solution.

as with onpnt's question, what are you asking us for?

There are lots and lots of scripts available on the web which can do that for you. Especially in PHP/MySQL, lots of free scripts.
