I starting using a new printer, and when I did this, the formatting changed on all of my charts (made in forms, then cut and paste into reports). I was asked to choose to 'format to new printer', and when I did, some of the charts continued to print in color, while others will only print out in black and white. I can't find settings for this either in Access or with the printer. I cannot print out some charts in color any more...

Help is greatly appreciated.

i don't think i have the exact answer, but check these things:
it asked you to change the printer because the one you originally selected in Page Setup is no longer setup on your machine.

1) do non-chart reports with colored text have the same problem?

2) in the design of the report, go FILE+PAGE SETUP, click the PAGE tab and at the bottom it says DEFAULT PRINTER or SPECIFIC PRINTER. I keep it at Default Printer, then just choose a printer from the Print Dialogue box when it pops up when I'm printing. Sometimes I've mistakingly left it at SPECIFIC PRINTER because in order to see the colors on the screen and format my chart how i want to, I'd have to set the printer choice to my color printer in Page Setup, and would forget to set it back. Then users would complain because no matter what they chose, it'd print to MY printer in a completely different building.

I'm not sure if you have to set a Specific Printer or not. Mess around with it and see.
