I link the songs I need in the director to external file instead of standard import to minimize the size of the program. I plan to burn the projector I created into a CD. And I noticed that when I move the file that I link to, to another location, the program will ask for the location of the file.

Means I need to burn both the file and the projector to the CD or are there any other solutions?

All I want is just to create a projector and burn it into a CD and then the program will be able to run smoothly(just like when I used standard import for the cast members) . Is it possible to have the same result if I link the cast members to external file?

you will need to put the file on the CD with your projector. There are a few ways to prevent the where is message. You can setup searchpaths that director uses to look for media. Check the manual for how to use the command.

where shud i set the searchpaths? Is it b4 i create the projector? Does anyone know how can I do that?
