I know sip trunks are best effort. But has anyone got one to work with Bandwidth. My sip trunks is registered and can make outgoing calls but can't get incoming to work

THis is my setup on the BW trunk

host=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
type=peer
qualify=yes
insecure=yes
dtmfmode=rfc2833
disallow=all
context=from-trunk
allow=ulaw,alaw
trustrpid=yes
sendrpid=yes
canreinvite=yes
deny=0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0
permit=216.82.237.0/255.255.255.0

What do you mean they are "best effort"? is there something better than SIP?

How have you programmed (so far) the SIP trunks for inbound? details do help.

We posted same time but thanks.
I do not know this system but sometimes learn from trying to help others.

For inbound you need to tell the system what you want.
Example
Tell this phone number (DID) to go to that device (Phone, Auto Attendant, IVR, etc)

Did you do anything here?:

So sorry for the late responds. Had an family emergency. I have since got this working. It was getting blocked on the customers firewall which they said all the ports needed were opened. Thank all of you so much for the replies.
