I have crystal report and i used an ODBC and it works great when i run it but some reason when i throw it up on the intranet at work it keeps promting for a userid and password.
As far as windows environment its windows 2000 server running IIS. The report is done with Crystal Reports ver 8. I am using tables that are stored on SQL Server. I have other reports that are unning on our intranet fine but they are from seperated created DB on SQL Server.
From the Crystal menu, go to Database/Set Location.
In the “Databases” box, highlight each table and remove the ODBC name and “dbo” (or other user name) from the table name found in the “Table:” text box (i.e. hsmprod.dbo.casemain becomes casemain)
I tried the suggestion of taking the names off and the dbo but it still prompts me for the username id and password. Thanks for the suggestion. If theres more suggestions out there let me know thanks.
