I just went through my first experience of removing a virus from my system. It was the Badtrans.B@mm and the Norton website said that it was possible that system security could have been compromised and recommended changing of passwords. I have numerous passwords, and I am wondering if this is really necessary since it has been removed (it was on the computer for 4 days before I realized it). Has anyone else experience this and what do you think about changing of passwords?

Thanks.

BadTrans uses a keylogger to record each key that is pressed and sends the results via Email.

That means each Password that you have used while the computer was infected may be compromised.

I know a case, where money was transfered from an account to an other account illegally without knowledge of the owner.
