I have re-installed Front Page 2000.

I cannot connect to our WEB site.
All of our pages and so forth are stored on the WEB site.

We are going through Microsoft Proxy Server to get on the Internet through a DSL line.
I can get on the internet OK and can Open one page from our WEB site with Open… in the File menu. I can type and it pops right up
But when I try to open the site using the Open WEB and type in I get the Error "Folder is inaccessible or may be password protected.
At one point it did ask me to log in but the error above keeps coming back up.

I think I have to create a port or something in the Proxy setting on my PC or something.

Can anyone Help please.

I discovered, much to my dismay, that much of the FP programming can not be sent through a proxy. I had to install a modem on my workstation.
Have you tried to do your work direct through a modem? If it worked, that may be what you have to do, also.

Actually It runs great on NT and the Proxy.

I have Front Page 2000 and Windows 2000 Pro at home on a cable modem and it works fine there too. No Proxy setup yet.
I remember very briefly having to do something inside Front Page but don't remember what or where.
The problem with a modem is there are no extra phone lines to use. We got rid of them all when we went to Proxy/DSL along with all of the dialup Internet Accounts. So that solution is not feasible.
