I have a web site that I would like to host. I have a computer, a static IP, and apache installed on windows2k. I don't have any idea how to cause apache to load my web site when I put my IP in the browser window. I also don't know how to have my domain name go to my IP,,, I just registered my domain name today... any hints on all this. I know it's the most basic question in the world, but I really want to learn this stuff and can't find the answer to such a basic question.

Ok first off
1. to host your domain, you need to have a name server. you can let someone else do your name server like hn.org.
2. here is a tutorial on installing apache and php and mysql and stuff. it is at read throughly.
