I installed WIN2K server and now I’m trying to install AD but I get the following error message – Active Directory Installation Wizard: The wizard cannot contact the DNS server that handles the name “Domain name.com” to determine if it supports dynamic update. Confirm your DNS configuration, or install and configure a DNS server on this computer. I installed DNS on the server but don’t see anything to configure. Any ideas?

I figured out the problem and thought I'd post it incase it helps anyone - pretty simple but something easy to overlook. After installing WIN2K and then DNS I never restarted before attempting to install AD, once I restarted AD installed. The installation never asked me to restart.
