I have windows NT backup server , when I try to logon locally to the machine I couldn't find the locall computer name in the list of domain , so I can select it to log in locally to the machine instead of log in to domain.?
Any help

If the server is a BDC, you can't log into the machine locally as it is a Domain Controller, thus you can only log into the Domain.

It has no concept of "local user accounts" - only domain wide ones. Thus you have no ability to log in locally. [auto] MCSE NT4/W2K

looks like you are disconnected it
you need to rejoin the domain
