I have to reinstall firefox to get to certain websites

Since about 2 days ago i have been having troubles accessing most websites i usually go to (e.g. digg.com, gizmodo, kotaku, facebook, ebay, etc). The only solution i found was to reinstall firefox, and that, as i have discovered is only a temporary solution.

Last night about a day after i first reinstalled firefox, it (the not being able to get to websites) starts up again. I have ran several different spyware/malware scans and nothing seems to have fixed it.

Another thing i have come to realize is that every time i restart my computer, the issue starts up again, and i have to reinstall firefox.

If anyone could help figure out what the problem is, i would be very greatfull.
