when I had win98, I could connect/disconnect every time without having to reboot. since XP arrived home, I'm having to reboot if I want to connect again to the internet. mine is an SM56 Motorola or something like that, can't remember but probably right, that came with the motherboard.
how can I reset that without having to reboot?
I have searched the threads and can't find the answer.
thanks for the response.

There's a fix somewhere in the MSKB, but for now, hit CTRL+ALT+DEL and end task on rnaapp.
Then you should be able to redial without restarting. Cheers,
Jim
