i was looking in my device manager just to caheck every thing and i found the tape detection device. when i opened it all i found was tape detection twice with no other info. i checked help but no help (what is new). i just put a new logiteck webcam on my system, is that it? to me a tape is for backup or music. help please. john

If there is no listing for a webcam in Dev. Mgr., then that may be its listing.
If there's a separate listing for the webcam, then you can remove the tape device.
However, if everything's working ok, then like they say "If it ain't broke......."
