I have set up a VPN but where to now??

Hi Everyone,

I have setup up a VPN connection using PPTP but now I don't know what to do next (total newbie).

How do I use this connection now - that is share files, etc.

I have an Instant messenging application that I would like to run between to offices accross the VPN

If anyone has any ideas at all it would be greatly appreciated

How can I test with a ping if both LANs are using the same IP range 192.168.xx.xx ??

Can't do that, must be different. Routing won't work.
