I have Service Pack 3..... or do i 2

Hey,

I have a strange problem. I have exchange 2000 service pack 3. Ive checkedmany times. For some reason though when I try to install the server part of Symantec Mail Security, it claims I dont have service pack 3 for Exchange 2000 and it shuts setup down right after it starts.
Can anyone please help, I have checked Symantecs knowledge base but nothing. Im trusting this knowledge base can help me out,

What Windows 2000 server service pack do you have ?

Their website also requires a minimum of SP3 on the OS

I actually have sp5 for windows 2000.
The error message that comes up during setup specifically points out Exchange 2000 service pack 3,

Very odd.

You might want to double check your OS SP level, Im not sure if there is a W2K SP5 out yet ?

You could try installing the Post-SP3 Super Roll-up if you havent done so ?

Otherwise try symantec, as suggested by lander215 above
