How do I change the appearance of the psuedo numbers to the main number of a branch?

Explain what you are calling psuedo numbers.
If you are wanting to change each phone to send its individual ext. then you have to build clid table entries in the net data block.

puesdo or phantom numbers calling 911, the phantom number ids to the 911 operator as a DID number. How do I change the appearance of the phantom number?

req: chg
type: tnb
tn: your phantom tn
cust: 0
echg: yes
item: dn xxxx your new number
press enter
press enter

The digit next to the dn on your phantoms refers to the clid table entry in ld 15. Prt clid in ld 21 it will print out each entry that is built. If you have one that displays the main ext. then
chg
tnb
echg yes
dn xxxx y

y=clid table entry

Post one of your phantoms if you would that way we are sure to be on the same page.

I think he is talking about non did numbers thats why I asked him to post the phantoms he is referring to.

But even if he adds clid tables, if the LEC or CLEC just has like a main DID in their database, wouldn't that trump what he is sending, just curious

Well the lec or clec has to be set up for him to do this, but from what he said in his first post it looks like he is sending the individual dns already and he wants it to send the main number instead.

and yes the lec or clec could set it up so that every call out on their trunks would display a designated ID.

Ya'll are some funny guys!! Sorry to use the incorrect verbage, I guess non DID numbers is what I'm referring to.

Its ok, its just when you say phantom to Nortel guys we immediately think you are talking about phantom tns, which don't have phones connected to them.
Anyway, did you resolve your problem?

thanks a12, that is what I thought just wanted to make sure.

I have 2 tables. One for each exchange I'm using.
