All-
In general I have used variety of appliance based firewalls. Cisco PIX, ASA, some checkpoint and Linux WAF.. This current project I am on is a Microsoft bellwether shop, they live breath and eat it so it makes sense they choose a firewall that is sold by Microsoft.
Does anyone here generally have any brief pros and cons to securing a new MS Forest/domain using an ISA Proxy. Why would I use this one as opposed to any other stateful inspection FW like a Cisco appliance..
Does the ISA offer anything that some of the appliances I mentioned above don't offer. I've read articles about ISA proxy and some of it's neat reverse proxy support for urls and natted addresses but can anyone detail some of their personal experiences with this ISA proxy product..
any info at all would be much appreciated to anyone willing to share their experiences..
thanks so much
