Hi.
I have a Pentium 2, 466Mhz.
It runs on Win 98, my other computer is Win2000 Pro.
I can see the 466 comp from the 2000 one but the 466 won't allow the networking window to open.
How do I set up the network?

Problem may be caused by Guest account. Win 98 will be seen as a guest to win 2000. Add a guest account on win 2000 .

When you say "won't allow the networking window to open", do you mean you get an error, or is it just that nothing happens?

Can you access a share from the 98 machine by running "\\pcname\sharename"? Can the 98 machine PING the 2000 machine?
