I have HP BRIO System it's motherboard's chipset is SIS 5595. I want to Upgrade it's bios because i wanted to detect 40 GB HDD OR LARGER in it. Help me......................................

Since the 'brands' customize the BIOS, you'll have to go to HP's web site with the computer model number and see if there is a BIOS update.

A search on for BRIO shows 15 models.

It's entirely possible there may be no BIOS update, but I picked a 7xx series model at random and an 8xx series and there were BIOS updates for them.

HP's site is where you'll download the bios info...and they should have some good guidelines for doing it...(DON'T DO IT FROM A FLOPPY! DO BACK UP YOUR BIOS 1st)
HP should tell how...
