I Have a HP 935c and it had a problem with OVERSPRAY. I also had a problem with it not releasing the paper after printing. HP had me send it for repair.
Now That it is in the hospital I was looking at getting a new one. ANY suggetions????
And does anyone know what the 935C features were.
like PPM Black and PPM Color. 4 years ago the 935c was a pretty good printer for home so I am looking at what is out there

If it's an ink jet, look for an Epson. If it's a laser, look for an HP.

Why epson for Ink Jet. I do have the 935c Inkjet
i also will look at the 2550L

kiddpete:

Well, HP *USED* to know how to make InkJets. Then they started making them a little cheaper....

Personally, I have an Epson Stylus Photo 900, which I *LOVE*, but they have a newer model out, that uses individual tanks for ink, and will front-feed printable CD's.

Also, the Epson does something like 4800x1200 for photos.... INCREDIBLE output on those.

For a laser, I have a LJ2100D which I love.....

Just my $0.02

From Hp's website, the specs for the 935C are:
Draft Mode 9ppm black, 3ppm color.
Resolution is 600dpi.

If you are just looking for a basic printer for correspondence I like the epson C84. You can get one of these for less than $99, fast and quiet (it's rated at 22ppm).

If you want to do some serious photo printing look at the epson R800 $399.
